Millbrook Congratulates Evan Hills on USDF Bronze Medal!

Evan Hills and Megabucks (aka Grandee) earned their USDF Bronze Medal at the Wasatch Back Dressage Show over the weekend of July 16-17.  Way to go!!!!

This achievement requires the horse and rider to show proficiency as they move up from Training Level of dressage into the First, Second and Third Levels.   In order to earn the Bronze Medal, the horse and rider must earn two scores of 60% or better from two different judges at two different shows riding any test from each of the levels.  Since every level takes approximately one year to master, this accomplishment usually comes after several years of consistent work.  We are very excited that they have earned this honor in three years and applaud Evan for doing most of the training (with Gary's help, of course).  Great Job!

We did it!  We made the move to Fairfield!

Memorial Day Weekend saw us making the transition to the new place.  We are so thrilled and excited to be here.  The residents of Fairfield have embraced us with open arms and made us feel so welcome.  The horses have settled right in like they have been here forever.

The new facility is SO great.  The indoor arena is quiet and horse-friendly.  The footing is well on the way to being some of the best around.  The stables are well ventilated and have a happy, calm feeling.  We are still working on moving things from the old location, but we have one of the competition arenas completed and the other will soon follow.

We have a few pictures of the new facility here, but you can see many more pictures of our facility, our horses and their riders on Facebook.  Send a friend request to Millbrook Farms.

Millbrook Farms website got hacked!

If you were looking for our website during the past few weeks, you might have seen a notice from Google that we had malware attached or the web page might have not been there at all.  Well, after much fussing and consternation, we found out we had been hacked.  What a bummer!  But we are rebuilding and will try to make it harder for them to break us down the next time.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

We have two permanent competition arenas and will be hosting clinics and shows.
