 Da Vinchi Royale (Vinnie) is a 8 year old registered Hanoverian gelding by Davignport (by Davignon) out of the Hanoverian mare Great Expectations (by Grand Royal). He was bred by Berend and Carla Friehe of Friehe Farms of Moses Lake, Washington. Vinnie has been kindly and carefully started by his owners, Jody and Kevin Roche, of Pinedale, Wyoming. For the past three years, Vinnie has been in training with Gary Lawrence, USDF Gold Medalist.
Vinnie has racked up a considerable show record during that time. He has been successfully shown Training and First Level and has consistently received scores in the 70%'s. Vinnie was the highest scoring horse at every show during his first year in the ring. He is unflappable and works as calmly away at shows as he does at home. He doesn't mind footing changes, trailers very well, and is a gentleman at all times.
Clincians and judges alike sing the priaises of this beautiful chestnut gelding. He is steady and kind. He is loving and affectionate. He would make a very nice adult amateur horse or would be suitable for a junior or young rider. He is certainly nice enough for a professional looking to make a name for themselves. He is built uphill and has three good gaits. He is not spooky or easily upset. He is ready to show Second Level this year and is schooling the half pass in both trot and canter.
